Devi Navaratri - The Festival of Nine Days Honoring the Divine Mother
Devi Navaratri is a festival dedicated to the Divine Mother. The first three days are dedicated to the goddess Durga, the following three days are dedicated to the goddess Lakshmi, which is also known as the goddess of fortune, and the last three days are dedicated to the goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and arts. This is a compilation of the various pujas that were held at the Hindu Temple, from September 19 to the 28th - 2009, culminating with a fire ceremony that lasted for more than four hours.
