His Divine Grace Srila Narahari das Babaji Maharaja is one of the most important spiritual masters and siksa gurus  of Swami Ramakrishnananda. There is no doubt that Babaji  had a great influence on the life of Gurudev and left a deep impression on his heart. Babaji, who lived most of his life in the holy city of Vrindavan, India, was a great saint, sadhu, bhakti yogi, pure devotee, acharya and completely enlightened spiritual master.

In his presence it was possible to feel the power of the shakti or sacred energy, the divine power that emanates from a soul that experiences the origin and source of existence. Babaji was a direct and personal disciple of His Divine Grace Srila Nityananda Das Babaji of Barasana. This bhakti yogi saint lived every moment in ecstatic love for their Lordships  Radha and Krishna, passing his days in chanting hundreds of rounds of the maha mantra, and worshiping Tulasi Devi and Lord Giriraja. Babaji used to communicate directly with Devas or different Demigods, such as Maha Durga and Maha Kali and with other very powerful spiritual entities. Babaji imparted personally to Ramakrishnananda Swami important guidance and esoteric knowledge in the intricate path of the Bhakti Yoga, conveying instructions for his spiritual life and implanting in his heart a deep love for Sri Caitanya  Mahaprabhu, Vaishnavism, and their Lordships Sri Sri Radha and Krishna . In his last days, Babaji requested our spiritual master to devote his life to teaching and spreading the Vedic religion.
Babaji was born in the Indian village of Kalida, and left his body on the 3rd of November in 2001, at the age of 108 years. Babaji was undoubtedly a totally enlightened Master and an absolutely realized being. He held an important place in the path of our spiritual master, and is, and will always be, a source of inspiration for all the members of our mission.
